METHOD OF TREATING SYNDROME OF DENTOALVEOLAR ELONGATION IN CASE IF TEETH-ANTAGONISTS ARE ABSENT Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC A61C13/00 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to dentistry and is intended for application in treatment of syndrome of dentoalveolar elongation if teeth-antagonists are absent. Into positions of absent teeth installed are dental implants, onto which metal bite-guard plate, consisting of base and detachable platform, is installed. Base of bite guard plate is made in form of bar. On side surface of bite guard plate base guiding grooves are made. On side surface of detachable platform protrusions, corresponding to guiding grooves, are made. 2-3 weeks after installation of metal bite guide plate detachable platform is removed, material is placed on its bottom, after which detachable platform is fixed on base. Removal of detachable platform and placement of material on its bottom is performed repeatedly in course of treatment with 2-3 week period until correction of syndrome of dentoalveolar elongation is completed.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to eliminate displacement of support teeth and trauma of oral cavity mucosa, increase stability of installed bite guide plate, reduce patient's discomfort in treatment period due to installation of dental implants in position of absent teeth, creating support for bite guide plate and placement of layup material on the bottom of detachable platform.
