SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to dentistry, and is intended for use in the horizontal movement of teeth with defects of short tooth rows included. Temporary removable denture of small length is made, made by computer simulation and 3D printing from a dental polymer in the form of a missing tooth crown with a chewing surface corresponding to the occlusal surface of the antagonist teeth, monolithically made retention elements 2 mm thick, passing from the lingual and buccal sides along the clinical equator of the teeth, limiting the defect of the dentition with its overlap above and below the boundary line by 2 mm, and the longitudinal size of the prosthesis by 1 mm exceeds the distance between the teeth, limiting the defect along the line of their contact with the prosthesis, the number of temporary dentures is regulated by the distance of the necessary movement of the teeth and is determined at the stage of planning the dental treatment.

EFFECT: method allows temporarily restoring the chewing effectiveness, as well as forming the space necessary for permanent prosthetics in patients with deformed dentitions.
