FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed crystalliser pan comprises plates 2 made of copper or copper alloys, and adapter plates 3 whereto plates 2 are bolted. Crystalliser pan plates 2 are additionally secured to adapter plate 3 at its top and bottom parts 20, 21 by fastening strips 19. Said fastening strips 19 have ledges to be fitted in recesses made in adapter plate 3 at its top and bottom parts. Top and bottom parts 21 of plate 2 have lengthwise slots for fastening strips 19 with end spring hooks to engage with said slots.
EFFECT: optimum cooling over entire surface of crystalliser plate, decreased stress in plates.
