SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a disposable absorbent product (1) used to be wearing the waist, such as a diaper or a product used for incontinence. The product has at least one barrier element (8) the extending at least along a long side of a perineal portion (4) with the barrier element (8) having a proximal end (9) coupled with the rest of the product (1), and a distal end (10) forming a free end extending longitudinally. The coupling element (13) couples the barrier element (8) with a side portion (11) with the coupling element (13) extending between a first zone (14) coupling with the barrier element and a second zone (16) coupling with the side portion (11) so that if the product is under stretching strain, e.g. when putting on or wearing, said stretching strain is to be at least partially transferred to the barrier element (8) by said coupling element (13).
EFFECT: product well lies down the user's body in a combination with a higher degree of leakage protection ensured by keeping body discharge in the middle of the product and preferentially away from the leg openings.
