SUBSTANCE: disposable diaper (1) comprises an elongated absorbent set (5) having a topsheet (2), a backsheet (3), an absorbent element (4) between the two sheets, and two extensible panels (6) attached on both side edges of the absorbent set along the longitudinal direction of the absorbent set. The fastening tape having an attached portion (71) is attached to the outer edge portion (6A) of the extensible panel (6). The extensible panel (6) has an elasticised portion (6B) arranged inside in the Y direction with respect to the outer edge portion (6A). The zones of adhesive bonding, in which any elements forming the extensible panel (6) are attached to each other by an adhesive, are absent in the zone of the extensible panel (6) which is in the Y direction outside the elasticised portion (6B), i.e. the zone comprising an outer edge portion (6A). The inner end (73t) of the base portion (73) of the tape is located outside in the X direction from the elastic element (62t).
