FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: shaft has at least one air passage opening and a piston placed inside the shaft so that inner shaft of the shaft is divided into two compartments, which are sealed relative to each other; at that, outlet compartment is provided with one or more passage openings for the air being under environmental pressure, and the other inlet compartment is under variable pressure existing inside air/oil cavity. When under action of difference of pressures existing in two compartments, the piston obtains the possibility of performing translational movement inside inner part of the shaft by movement from one extreme position to another one; at that, when in the first position, one or more air passage openings are fully opened, and when in the second position, one or more air passage openings are partially closed with the piston.
EFFECT: providing high tightness of air-oil cavities at the engine operation in any modes and maintaining the lowest possible oil consumption.
