FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises longitudinal blowing of tube surface by heat carrier flow, its direction being inverted periodically. Heat carrier flow is divided into two equal-temperature controlled-flow rate flows at tubing inlet, one being directed along outer surface of said tubing while another one - along its inner surface. In heat treatment, difference in mean temperatures, over tubing length, is kept equal to ±2.5°C per one running metre of tubing by controlling flow rate.

EFFECT: synchronous variation of linear sized of inner and outer tubes, ruled out deformation or collapse of weld joints.
