FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermal treatment of 60-80 mm-dia tubing of the "tube-in-tube" type that necessitates evacuation of annulus. To increase quality of tubes, tube surfaces are blown by heat carrier with variable direction. Two independent controlled pressure and temperature heat carrier flows are forced into tubing inlet. One of said flows is directed along outer wall of inner tube while another flow is forced along its inner wall. In thermal treatment, flow rate and temperature are controlled to maintain temperature difference of average-length tubes in the range of +2.5 °C to -2.5 °C.
EFFECT: higher quality.
