FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to making mortars. Proposed unit comprises drive arranged on frame with air cylinders mounted on the bed, rotary housing representing zigzag-like tunnel composed of sections interconnected to make polyhedral inner and outer surfaces provided with loader and unloader. Said housing expands over length toward barrel-like center and is composed of sections arranged along its edges and composed of one equilateral trapezoid, two identical inequilateral trapezoids and second equilateral trapezoid with height smaller than that of the first one. Bottom bases of said trapezoids are equal and smaller than top bases of all four trapezoids to make square at sections faces. Square of every next section is turned relative to square of previous section through 180 degrees. Every connected section has sides of lower base square equal to those of upper base of previous section. From unloader to rattler center, it consists of interconnected one equilateral trapezoid, two identical inequilateral trapezoids and second equilateral trapezoid with height smaller than that of the first one. Bottom bases of said trapezoids are equal and smaller than top bases of all four trapezoids to make square at sections faces. Square of every next section is turned relative to square of previous section through 180 degrees. Every connected section has sides of lower base square equal to those of upper base of previous section.
