FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to producing foamed article, particularly, sheet or board. Proposed process comprises the stages that follow. Making carcass layer composed of flexible foam with exposed cavities. Note here that said cavities make, at least, 90% of the volume. It includes spraying foamed composition composed of reactive isocyanate-based mix onto said carcass layer. Note also that said composition starts hardening immediately in spraying. It comprises also placing said carcass layer in mould, foaming liquid composition in foam exposed cavities to form extra foam to fill said cavities and extracting finished product from said mould.
EFFECT: decreased amount of foamed composition for filling exposed cavities.
