METHOD TO MANUFACTURE SLABS IN WOODEN LOW-RISE BUILDINGS Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC E04B5/12

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: slabs are made of wooden pre-stressed laminated girders, which are stressed by rope reinforcement arranged in span according to the moments diagram. At first two laminated girders on the ground are fixed to each other with reinforcement rods, so that there is a gap between them for arrangement of the stressed rope reinforcement. Then ropes are tightened. Afterwards the pre-stressed metal and wood girders are installed onto wooden walls or pillars on a floor slab, than the girder-to-girder space is covered with wooden decking, and the space with ropes in a girder is filled by ceramsite concrete or another composite hardening mortar. At the ends of metal and wood girders there are protective boards installed, and the space between protective boards and anchors is filled with small-grained concrete.

EFFECT: possibility to make a slab of large span.
