FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device contains a cylindrical-shaped dielectric substrate and metal foil superimposed onto the substrate surface and connected to a pulse current source; the metal foil is laid into the indent made in the dielectric substrate, the indent surface shape analogous to that of a hyperboloid of revolution of one nappe. The metal foil peripheral sections contact the ring electrodes connected to the pulse current source while the surfaces of the foil and the ring electrodes are plated with a coating of a dielectric aerogenic synthetic polymer material.
EFFECT: increased destructive capability of the flow of gaseous products generated as a result of metal foil blasting.
