FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chemical industry. RnSiH4-n type silanes are obtained by disproportionation of RnSiH(OR')3-n (where n=0; 1; R=Me; R'=Me, Et) type hydride alkoxysilanes in the presence of a heterogeneous catalyst - an anion-exchange resin. The anion-exchange resin is treated once with dry methyl alcohol, followed by separation thereof, and then with an alkali metal hydroxide solution in dry methanol and separation thereof, followed drying the catalyst. Drying is carried out in a vacuum at temperature of 20-50°C until achieving constant weight. Residual content of water and alcohol in the dry anion-exchange resin is not more than 0.1%.
EFFECT: invention increases catalyst activity and selectivity.
