FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used for recovery of operating performances of operating and guide vanes of steam turbines, gas transfer plants and gas turbine engines. Proposed method comprises machining blade root end face to remove defects, building up filler material on blade root end face and machining to preset sizes. After machining, blade root end face is subjected to electroerosion machining or electroerosion machining and electrochemical processing by electrode tool for produce brushed seal made up of a plate and/or bristle with preset height and inclination angle α to blade lengthwise axis in direction opposite the blade direction.

EFFECT: efficient longer-life seal for turbo machine.
