FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for manufacturing of spindles for dampers and gate valves for closure of pipelines or control of flow rate of mediums flowing in them. Item is deformed in p-area, is mechanically treated with provision of thread, multi-stage electrochemical polishing and alloying of its surface are carried out. Multistage electrochemical polishing of item is carried out in mode of electrolyte-plasma treatment. Alloying of surface is carried out with ion implantation and post-implantation anneal. At first implantation of N, C, B, Si, Cr, Y, Yb, Zr, La ions or their combinations is carried out, and then molybdenum ions are implanted. Post-implantation anneal is carried out at the temperature of 500…600°C for 1.5…3 hours.

EFFECT: increased service life and reliability of spindle.
