FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used for recovery of operating performances of the vanes of steam turbines, gas transfer plants and gas turbine engines, made from titanium alloys. Proposed method comprises vane non-destructive testing, dismantling vanes form the rotor, removing defective surface metal layer, holding the vane in vacuum and thermal treatment. The latter is performed by heating the, holding in vacuum for vane metal degassing and reduction of its dislocation structure, and cooling down in vacuum to ambient temperature. Vane is heated to 150°C…650°C, while holding at preset temperature is combined with electric pulse treatment with current density varying from 10 MA/m2 to 200 MA/m2.
EFFECT: reduced labour input, higher operating performances of vanes.
