FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: connection of underwater crossing pipelines contains main and parallel laid underwater main and reserved pipelines of the same diameter, assemblies of pipeline connection to the flanges at the ends, shut-off valves. Underwater pipeline areas are made with angular Y-intersections in areas of joining the connection assemblies. Connection assembly is made in a form of branch pipe of square cross section connected via flanges to main pipeline from one end, and from the other end - to each underground pipeline area with the help of sections located at acute angle to each other. In the area of the said sections joining there is a flat damper attached to the vertical shaft with drive of its rotation capable of covering the holes of main or reserved pipeline. The size of branch pipe square section side is equal to pipeline diameter, and shut-off valves are arranged directly near flange connection. Vertical shaft with damper attached to its bottom part is located capable of rotation in the bearing fixed at the top part of the branch pipe and is equipped with device for its fixing at damper operating positions.
EFFECT: simplification of underwater crossing connection structure with improvement of reliability of its operation and reduction of capital and operational expenses.
