FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: air conditioner (1) includes heat generation element (11f), electromagnetic induction heating device (6), device (T42) for determining temperature for the space that is to be air-conditioned, device (T24) for determining temperature of ambient air and control unit (11). The heat generation element establishes thermal contact with cooling agent pipeline (10f) and/or cooling agent flowing through the cooling agent pipeline. Electromagnetic induction heating device includes assembly (68) for generation of magnetic field. Magnetic field generation assembly generates magnetic field for heating due to induction of the heat generation element. When the cooling cycle performs a heating process or a defrosting process, the control unit prevents generation of magnetic field by means of a magnetic field generation assembly when temperature in the space that is to be air-conditioned and ambient air temperature do not meet the first specified condition, and at the same time, when difference between established target temperature and temperature in the space that is to be air-conditioned does not meet the second specified condition.
EFFECT: air conditioner prevents useless heating of cooling agent when heat load or load of the defrosting process is high and can quickly make the space to be air-conditioned comfortable.
