FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for remote detection of alpha-radiation sources, having an air ion measuring detector which opens into the air, which is interfaced with an air ion transfer unit and is connected to an operating voltage source and a measuring pulse counter, respectively, a comparator (digital), the first input of which is connected to the bus of a preassigned number, and the output is connected to the control input of the operating voltage source, wherein the apparatus further includes a double-electrode cell (system) "needle-plane" for generating corona discharge, a second voltage source, an analogue comparator, a potentiometer resistor and a reference voltage source, wherein the second input of the digital comparator is connected to the output of the measuring pulse counter; the double-electrode cell "needle-plane" is interfaced with the air ion transfer unit; the first electrode of the double-electrode cell - cathode (needle) - is connected to the output of the second voltage source, and the second electrode - collector (anode) - is in form of a mesh and is connected to the first input of the analogue comparator and the first lead of the potentiometer resistor, the second lead of which is connected to the zero potential bus (earthed); the second input of the analogue comparator is connected to the output of the reference voltage source and the output is connected to the control input of the second voltage source.
EFFECT: high selectivity of detecting alpha-radiation, wider field of use of the apparatus.
