FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for remote detection of alpha-radiation sources includes an air ion measuring detector which is open in air, is interfaced with an air ion transfer unit and is connected an operating voltage source and a measuring pulse counter, respectively, a calibration alpha source, a calibration air ion detector similar to the measuring detector which is gas-discharge and is connected to the operating voltage source, and a comparator, wherein the calibration detector is connected to the calibration pulse counter, the output of which is connected to the first input of the comparator, the second input of which is connected to a prescribed number bus. The apparatus further includes an operating mode two-way switch, an adder, wherein the control input of the two-way switch is the device mode selection input, the first data input is connected to a zero potential bus and the second data input is connected to an additional prescribed number bus, the first input of the adder is connected to the output of the comparator, the second input of the adder is connected to the output of the operating mode two-way switch, and the output of the adder is connected to the control input of the operating voltage source.
EFFECT: high reliability of detecting alpha radioactive contamination, shorter time for investigating territories or facilities.
