FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of induced polarization (IP), and may be used to search for minerals in the explored geological cut on the basis of determination of the induced polarisation coefficient. The electrical exploration device comprises a differential metre with three measuring M, N and O non-polarised point electrodes. The differential metre comprises the first and second low frequency amplifiers (LFA), a switchboard, an analogue to digital converter (ADC), the first and second random-access memories (RAM), a unit to calculate dispersion of electric potential ΔUMo, a subtracting device, a controlled attenuator, a unit to calculate dispersion of a difference of electric potentials, a divider, a unit of indication and a unit of control.
EFFECT: increased sensitivity of a device by a measured coefficient of IP.
