SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for performing capsulorexis on eyes with swelling overripe cataract. After opening anterior eye chamber and introduction of viscoelastic into it, tip of phacoemulsificator is brought to the surface of anterior capsule-crystalline lens, butt end surface of phacoemulsificator tip is placed tight to anterior crystalline lens capsule in central area, and hole in anterior capsule is formed by means of ultrasound with switched on vacuum. After opening anterior capsule of crystalline lens, ablation of swollen crystalline lens mass is carried out by means of phacoemulsificator tip. After that, standard circular capsulorexis is performed by extension of made capsulotomic hole to required size. Method reduces time of capsulorexis performance due to reduction of manipulation volume, simultaneousness of their performance and due to carrying out manipulations by means one phacoemulsificator device.

EFFECT: simultaneous opening of anterior capsule and ablation of crystalline lens mass make it possible to reduce excessive intracapsular pressure and respectively avoid sharp pressure difference, which prevents possible capsulorexis displacement towards periphery.
