FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to continuous method of producing olefin oxide, wherein olefin is reacted with a hydroperoxide in the presence of a catalyst, and wherein the reaction is carried out in at least three reactors operating in parallel while removing one of the reaction from operation in order to regenerate the catalyst. According to the invention, loading catalyst into the reactors is controlled as follows. The average catalyst load LA is in the range of (0.8-1.2) of the average standard catalyst load LSA. The catalyst load L in a specific reactor is in the range of (0.5-1.5) LS, where LS is the standard catalyst load for the given reactor and the catalyst load L in the specific reactor is equal to the molar amount of hydroperoxide loaded per kilogram of the catalyst per hour in the given reactor.
EFFECT: high total output of the reaction product.
