FIELD: veterinary medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method includes performing of laser light-scattering spectroscopy of blood serum. And the investigation of the spectrum of light scattering intensity is performed after heating the serum to 70-90°C and slow cooling to a temperature of 10-50°C. The time dependence of intensity of scattered laser radiation is subjected to Fourier transformation, the resulting curve represents a dependence of intensity of scattered laser radiation on frequency. In the presence of cancer in the animal, the ratio of the intensity of scattered radiation at a frequency of 200 Hz to the intensity of the signal at a frequency of 400 Hz is lower than 1.65, in animals without cancer the ratio of the intensity of scattered radiation at a frequency of 200 Hz to the intensity of the signal at a frequency of 400 Hz exceeds 1.8. If the ratio of the intensity of scattered laser radiation at a frequency of 200 Hz to the intensity of the signal at a frequency of 400 Hz is in the range from 1.65 to 1.8, the risk of cancer in the animal is diagnosed.

EFFECT: reliable diagnostics of cancer in animals, including at early stage of the disease.
