FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: device employs a QBH optical connector having a housing with a circular cross-section with conical tapering at its output end and with a first circular cavity. On the butt end of the body of the collimating device, on the side of the inserted optical connector, there is a second circular cavity and threaded holes. Inside the body of the collimating device there is a third circular cavity in which a sealing ring is placed. Semi-circular liners, which protrude beyond the maximum diameter of the housing by the value of the second circular cavity, are placed in the first cavity. The housing of the optical connector with the semi-circular liners is mounted in the body of the collimating device by a clamping flange with threaded components which are inserted into through-holes which correspond to the position of threaded holes on the butt end of the body of the collimating device.

EFFECT: high reliability of fastening an optical connector in the collimating device of a fibre laser.
