FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fibre-optic devices of information transmission lines and can be used as a hermetically sealed fibre-optic connector. In the disclosed hermetically sealed fibre-optic connector, comprising a housing with a sealing flange situated outside the housing at the central part thereof, on the outer cylindrical surface of the housing at both ends there is a thread and a groove for fixing the angular position of mating FC-type (Fiber Connector) connectors, and a sealing assembly in the form of a ferrule unit, the ferrules of which enter centralisers, is mounted coaxially inside the housing. The centralisers are in the form of elastic collet elements whose ends have external conical surfaces, and the ends of the ferrule unit are in the form of cylindrical wedge elements, the cylindrical housing is made of three components. Furthermore, the ferrule unit is hermetically welded to at least one of the housing components.
EFFECT: high impact and vibration resistance, degree of sealing and technological effectiveness of the fibre-optic connector, while maintaining the universality of mating with FC-type connectors.
