FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: method for enhancement of fault resistance of articles and component parts thereof consists in determination of faults intensity, probability of the article operable state and margin thereof, elimination of malfunctions, selection and application of structural, scheme solutions of the product and component part thereof. According to the first version of the method, one additionally determines the value of the output parameter of the required function of the article and component parts thereof and the range of their variation and establishes the correlation between the said parameters and operable state probability as well as the required function parameter dependence on the scheme, structural parameters of the article and component parts thereof with account for the structural schemes of reliability of the article and component part thereof under affecting factors action; then one varies the scheme, structural parameters of the article and component parts thereof selecting parameter options within the given range of affecting factors ensuring probability of a state of operability the article and component parts thereof not below the preset level. According to the method second version, one additionally determines the speed and acceleration of variation of the output parameter of the required function of the article and component parts thereof in time and determines, within the said time interval, faults intensity from the expression; then one measures the affecting factors levels within the given interval of their values at different schematic and structural parameters of the articles and determines the optimal value of faults intensity and/or operable state probability that ensure that the functional serviceability file of the article and component parts thereof is not lower than the preset one.
EFFECT: enhanced fault resistance of articles and component parts thereof.
