Method of increasing reliability of an article and its components involving determination the nonfailure operating probability (NOP), failure frequency ν, life time Tlife, fault elimination, selection of modes of operation and improvement of structural, structural-functional solutions of the article and its components, determination of the structural composition providing the required function of the article and establishment of a relationship between the components number n, their change Δn and nonfailure operating probability Pn as per the ratio of N=no(1-Δν/νo)=noPn.
EFFECT: technical result is improvement of reliability of the article and its components.
