SUBSTANCE: invention provides for a method and a device for calibration of transfer capacity in a wireless communication system (100) multiplexed with frequency division. The method may include stages, at which they receive (315) provided planning of an uplink on user equipment (120), set (320) the desired level of capacity on the basis of at least provision of uplink planning, and set (325) instrument settings of capacity on the basis of the desired capacity level. The method may also include stages, at which data is sent (330) in the first subframe at the first capacity level on the basis of instrument settings of capacity, the first level of capacity is measured (335) in the first subframe, and the difference is determined (340) between the desired capacity level and the measured first capacity level. The method may additionally include stages, at which instrument settings of capacity are changed (345) on the basis of the difference, and sent (350) at the second level of capacity on the basis of the modified instrument settings of capacity in the next transfer, corresponding to the transfer in the first subframe.
