SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiac surgery. Ultrasonic scanning if transplants after main step of operation is performed. After stopping artificial blood circulation, under conditions of stable hemodynamics heart sac is filled with physiological solution, heated to temperature 37-38°C. Tape or soft silicone tube aw limiter of bypass displacement is passed under examined bypass. Sterile high-frequency sensor is submerged into liquid in the zone of examined bypass. Examined bypass, which is located in a layer of liquid, is positioned into the zone of sensor action by means of limiter of bypass displacement in such a way that bypass is in the loop, formed by sensor and limiter of bypass displacement, at the distance not more than 1-1.5 cm from sensor. Sensor is placed at angle 45° to bypass axis.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain high-quality image of bypass and intra-bypass space, to measure bypass diameter and parameters of blood flow in it accurately intra-operatively on working heart.
