FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to electric rolling stock pantographs. In acceleration of rolling stock, incoming airflow acts at aerofoil profiles 9, 14 to turn lever 2 on axle 7 clockwise that drags lever end 1 to make it turn on axle 10 counterclockwise by resilience of spring 11 and lift of aerofoil 14. Note here that spring 8 gets contracted while spring 11 is expanded to reduce force acting at lever 1. Reduction in force of spring 11 is compensated by increase in lift of aerofoil 14 which results in invariable force of slide hold down to contact wire. Thus, airflow effects at aerofoil profiles 9, 14 cause opposite-sign forces applied to slide to make resultant hold don force invariable.
EFFECT: stable hold-down pressure of slide to contact wire, higher reliability.
