FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: device to remove icicles from a roof cornice comprises an element for water freezing made in the form of a strong elastic net hanging down from the cornice with rectangular cells, which is attached by one lengthy side to the cornice, and with the other one wound onto a rigid rod. At the same time each of side walls of the net is fixed on a section of a flat thermobimetallic tape attached to the cornice and the rod. Ends of the tapes on the cornice are connected by wires with terminals for connection of a source of an electric signal.

EFFECT: increased operational reliability of a roof.
