FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: building roof cornice comprises a heating element placed on it and connected at the ends with terminals in order to connect a source of an electric signal. The cornice freely rests on the roof edge and is hingedly fixed to the latter with its inner edge. At the bottom steel bushings are rigidly fixed along the cornice with their side surfaces, being equipped with flat plates fixed on them at the side opposite to the cornice. Plates are made of an alloy with a shape memory effect with the specified temperature threshold of actuation, characterised by taking a bent U-shaped form after actuation and/or a thermal bimetal introduced into free contact with the roof edge. The heating element is made in the form of an insulated wire serially pulled through axial holes in bushings.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability of a roof.
