FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: device to remove icicles comprises an element for water freezing in process of snow and ice melting on a roof, and this element is attached to the external edge of the cornice. At the same time element for water freezing is made in the form of a strip made of an elastic net freely hanging off the cornice. At the sides of the strip with the help of diametral links there are two rigid rings fixed, being equipped with dead funnel-shaped elements evenly arranged along the contour and aligned to one side when embracing each ring and to the opposite sides on every ring.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability of a roof.
