FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: roof cornice with a cantilever roof eave is equipped with elements for water freezing with formation of icicles. Elements are made in the form of a strip of strong fabric laid along the external edge of the eave, and the strip comprises fixed and ends vertically hanging down, which are formed of rigid plates flexibly fixed to the strip and to each other with serial orthogonal rotation of their planes. Flexible connection of plates is done with sections of an elastic cord. Plates are made of elastic-plastic material, such as honeycomb laminate, having a honeycomb volume structure with cells open at all external sides of plates.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability of a roof.
