FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to generation of arc pulse train between displacing welding electrode and metallic billet and to system of electric arc welding by short-circuiting the arc by consumable electrode in atmosphere of inert gas. Arc pulse train is generated between displacing welding electrode 191 and metallic billet 199. Electric arc welding system can generate signal wave shape 100 in electric welding for making electric arc pulses. Signal wave shape cycle in electric welding comprises pinch current phase 120 that ensures increased level 121 of pinch current, peak current phase 130 that ensures peak current level 141, residual current phase 140 that decreases residual current level 141, and background current phase 110 that ensures background current level 111. At least, one current pulse 150 increasing heat is generated in cycle that ensures current level 151 increasing heat during background current phase. Note here that current level increasing said heat exceeds background current level. Signal wave shape cycle in electric welding with, at least one current pulse increasing heat can reiterate unless arc welding terminates.
EFFECT: increased heat feed to welding point.
