FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method for soil reinforcement includes laying and filling of reinforcing tapes with soil. Reinforcing tapes are laid across the fill onto the surface of the filled layer with levelling and compaction, and are filled with soil of the next layer. One end of each reinforcing tape is clamped between gabions of a retaining wall, and the other one is brought to the opposite slope of the fill. Reinforcing tapes are made of a polymer material containing steel wires extended along the reinforcing tape, surfaces of reinforcing tapes are structured with transverse ribs. The surface of steel wire is structured with burrs. Ends of reinforcing tapes are cut in longitudinal direction to form two or more strips, which are laid like a fan.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the soil reinforcement method, strength of a polymer reinforcing tape and intensity of soil and reinforcing tape interaction.
