FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: crawler comprises housing with first and second support platforms secured at its ends. Every said platform carries two self-propelled wheels coupled with appropriate support platform via height-adjustable posts. Said posts at every couple of wheels are arranged at an angle to each other. First front support platform supports positioning assembly consisting of step motor, reduction gear and guide secured at reduction gear output shaft to support sliding pulse X-ray apparatus spring loaded to side opposite the apparatus focus side. Thrust ring is fitted at slide sleeve to adjoin pipeline inner wall.
EFFECT: decreased weight and sizes, lower power consumption.
