METHOD FOR SOLID FUEL BURNING AND DEVICE FOR ITS REALISATION Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC F23D1/00 F23K3/00

Abstract RU 2482390 C2

FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method for solid fuel burning, in which fuel is supplied by means of non-pneumatic supplying facilities (11) to an inlet hole (11a) of a burner (10), which comprises the first inlet (13a) for oxidant supply, to which oxidant is supplied via the first supplying pipeline (13), the first inlet (13a) for oxidant supply is made in the form of a hole, which surrounds the inlet hole (11a), oxidant is supplied via the hole (13a) with speed making at least 100 m/s, and is sent to a passage via a tube (16) of the burner and through a hole (17) of the burner into a burning space (18), so that the oxidant by means of ejecting action forces fuel to glow through the burner tube (16) and through the burner hole (17). The diameter of the inlet hole (11a) may be from 1/6 to 1/4 of the burner tube (16) length between the inlet hole (11a) and the burner hole (17). Amount of oxidant supplied per unit of time via the first inlet (13a) is maintained at the level below the stoichiometric value relative to the fuel amount supplied to the inlet hole (11a). Oxidant is supplied via the first inlet (13a) with speed that is equal to at least the sound speed. The burner tube (16) is equipped with a structure (16a), with which the inner diameter of the burner tube (16) near the burner hole (17) is 2-30% less than near the first inlet (13a). Additional oxidant is supplied via the second additional inlet (14a) for oxidant, facing the burning space (18) and arranged in close proximity to the burner hole (17). Additional oxidant is supplied via the third additional inlet (15a) for oxidant, facing the burning space (18) and arranged in close proximity to the burner hole (17).

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase quality of solid fuel burning and to reduce NOx.
