THREE-ELECTRODE SENSOR Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC G01N27/02

Abstract RU 2482469 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: three-electrode sensor contains two potential electrodes, one of them equipped with a grounded guard electrode; the first potential electrode has a small area and represents the basic electrode forming the sensor working volume and geometrical constant as a whole with the interelectrode distance while the second detachable potential electrode represents the basic electrode in formation of magnetic field continuity inside the sensor working volume within the tested limits of liquid specific electric conductivity from 10-1 S/m to 10-6 S/m.

EFFECT: enhancement of the sensor operational qualities; possibility to determine characteristic frequency of liquid sloshing, liquid characteristic active electric conductivity, characteristic specific electric conductivity, liquid relative dielectric permeability at varied frequencies of field oscillation and temperatures; enhanced reliability and promptitude of analysis and determination of nature of liquids with or without collection of samples, in a remoter way, by way of the sensor immersion into the product in the process of production, transportation and storage.
