SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of studying properties of organic and inorganic liquids by electrophysical methods of analysis, in particular to operational methods for control of the polycondensation stage in the production of alkyd lacquers. The method for the control by electrophysical methods of analysis of the polycondensation stage in the production of alkyd lacquers includes heating a reaction mass to a temperature of 240-245°C, while control of the reaction process is carried out by continuously measuring current values of electrophysical parameters of the reaction mass in time: the active resistance R of the reaction mass and the tangent of the dielectric loss angle tg δ of the reaction mass for two types of lacquers: AF-033 and PF-060, while obtained absolute values are converted into relative (Rκ - Rτ)/Rκ and (tg δn - tg δτ)/tg δn, the dependence of these relations on time τ is built, an extremum is found on a dependence graph, which remains quasi-stable for 0.5 hours, and from this moment the process is considered finished.

EFFECT: obtaining clear criteria for completing the polycondensation process.
