FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: superconductive circuit breaker contains a superconductive tripping winding (the outputs whereof are connected to those of the energy source), a control system (consisting of a capacitor, a closing device and the main control winding, connected in series). Connected in parallel to the tripping winding outputs is a circuit consisting of a load and an auxiliary control winding. The tripping winding and the auxiliary control winding consist of an equal number of N sections. The tripping winding sections are connected in parallel while those of the auxiliary control winding - in series. The main control winding is positioned on the first section of the tripping winding while the sections of the auxiliary control winding are positioned on the cognominal sections of the tripping winding.
EFFECT: reduction of the circuit breaker control system energy and the circuit breaker response speed increase.
