FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: circuit breaker consists of a breaking unit (1) made of superconductive material as two conductors (2, 3) connected in-series and two heteropolar charged capacitors (4, 5) connected in-series while outputs of capacitors are connected to outputs of conductors. Between the point of capacitors (4, 5) connection and the point of conductors (2, 3) connection of the breaking unit (1) there is a contact closure device (6). Conductors (2, 3) of the contact closure device (1) are folded through insulating material (7) in double-helical way and these conductors together are laid into induction winding.

EFFECT: reduction of power consumed by control circuit by the circuit breaker by increase of self-magnetic field for the breaking unit within time frame of control process.
