FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention represents a superconductive quick-acting circuit breaker and may be used to input and output energy of superconductive magnetic systems, in systems of protection of superconductive windings of electric machines, superconductive cables and power transmission lines. A circuit breaker comprises a breaking element made in the form of two serially connected foil conductors from superconductive material, to outlets of which outputs of two serially connected and heteropolarly charged capacitors are connected. Between a point of connection of capacitors and a point of connection of breaking element conductors there is a closing device switched. Conductors of the breaking element are folded to each other via an insulation material in a double-wound manner, and together these conductors are laid into an inductive winding. In the central area of the breaking element a copper rod of round cross section is placed with a smooth or wavy side surface in the axial direction. The rod has a closed cavity. Thickness of its wall exceeds depth of magnetic field penetration at the control frequency. The rod is connected to a point of connection of breaking element conductors with a closing device.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of circuit breaker control and its improved performance.
