SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway vehicle and represents drive motor control circuit 10. Proposed circuit comprises input step-up converter to convert DC circuit voltage applied to motor input into intermediate voltage, DC intermediate link, pulse inverter connected behind said step-up converter for connection to motor output to convert constant voltage to that for driving drive motor, and control device controlling step-up converter control device. Said voltage effects control so that preset rated constant voltage of DC intermediate link is created for DC circuit voltage. Control device, at DC circuit voltage exceeding rated constant voltage on intermediate DC link controls step-up converter 20 so that it outputs voltage identical to DC circuit voltage or maximum offset voltage to be fed to pulse inverter.

EFFECT: simplified circuit.
