SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to compounds which are suitable for use in animal feed having general formula I and feed compositions based thereon (I), where A is a fragment (1), (2), (3) or (4), where R is OR', R1, R2 and R' denote C1-C18alkyl, C3-C18cycloalkyl, allyl, benzyl, phenyl, C1-C18alkyloxymethyl, C2-C6hydroxyalkyl, C3-C6dihydroxyalkyl or a C3-C12 sugar residue in which one OH group of the sugar is substituted with an O atom of a ketal or an O atom of a carboxylic acid; R3 is C2-C4alkylene or a C3-C12 sugar residue in which two OH groups are substituted with O atoms of a ketal, R4 is C3-C6alkylene, optionally substituted with a hydroxy group, or a C3-C12 sugar residue in which one OH groups is substituted with an O atom of a ketal, and one OH group is substituted with an O atom of a carboxylic acid, R5 is C3-C6 alkylene, optionally substituted with a hydroxy group, or a C3-C12 sugar residue in which three OH groups are substituted with O atoms of a ketal and one O atom of a carboxylic acid.
EFFECT: novel compounds which are suitable for use in animal feed are disclosed.
