FIELD: wood-working industry.
SUBSTANCE: self-adhesive material is formed of a polyolefin film which has a melt flow rate less than or equal to 4 g/10 min (measured at 190°C/2.16 kg) and contains reactive groups of maleic anhydride reacting with -OH groups of wood to create adhesive properties. At that, the reactive groups of polyolefin are activated at temperatures above 180°C during the manufacture of the self-adhesive material to form covalent bonds with the-OH groups of wood.
EFFECT: wood board with the self-adhesive material according to this invention has high wear resistance and can be used for the side walls of vans, trailers, horse boxes, carriage bodies for kitchens and furniture, playground equipment, sports equipment, containers and road signs.
