FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: stripper includes a housing consisting of upper and lower parts. The cavity of upper part of the housing is provided with several seals from elastomer, which are pressed through pressure elements with a fastener connected to upper part of the housing to support rings. When the pressure elements equipped with sealing rings are in working position and a pipe is lowered to the well, the above pressure elements and seals form tight chambers in the cavity of upper part of the housing. At that, the stripper is equipped in upper part of the housing with pressure gauges and safety valves, the actuation pressure of each of which does not exceed the value of allowable working pressure per seal, and their number is equal to the number of all the seals. When safety valves are actuated, they attach each chamber through pipelines to the above located chamber; at that, when upper safety valve is actuated, it connects upper chamber to atmosphere, and additional pipelines and shutoff devices connect additional chambers through holes in the wall of upper part of the housing to atmosphere.
EFFECT: enlarging operating capabilities and increasing general operational life of well head stripper.
