FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. To clean honeycomb, scarification of the surface layer of honeycomb cells is carried out by rolling of a needled roll in turns at both sides of honeycomb. Then initial cleaning of wax cells is carried out from contaminations by means of vibration acting at honeycomb, afterwards honeycomb is treated with water vapour for 3-5 minutes to bring honeycomb to temperature of 45-50°C, again exposed to vibration. Frames are exposed to vibration with frequency of 1200-1300 Hz and amplitude of 2-2.5 mm for 3-5 minutes.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase duration of honeycomb usage and also to produce high-quality wax when melting rejected honeycomb.
