FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular, to continuous casting mould cooling. Proposed method comprises teeming fused metal into casting mould, removing heat from metal by water running in casting mould channels and treated by ultrasound and magnetic field at a time, and withdrawing hardening ingot from casting mould.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of mould cooling and ingot quality.
